I went kayaking at north beach hampton on friday. The beach with the seawall. This is the beach where surfers go. Not much in the way of waves. There were no surfers because it was high tide. There is a 30 foot sailboat on the beach. Some idiot tried to anchor his boat in the ocean. There is a hole in the hull and apparently he doesn't have enough money to get it towed. I got hit by one wave when I got too close to shore. That was fun!

Terri and I went to the beach today at 12:30 and I kayaked and she walked. It was cold. We walked/paddled the inside and outside of seabrook beach. Almost down to round rock.

Went to hampton beach. Nice waves. About 10'. Bertha just passed Bermuda and is stirring up some waves.

Rode some nice waves on the sand bar south of the harbor entrance. Probably got going about 15mph. The tide was very low.

So far I have kayaked this week mon. tues, wed.
Tues. I saw a seal in the water. He treaded water for about 2 minutes watching me. All 3 days I have been playing in the waves trying to find something to knock me over.
Yesterday (tues.) I dumped in the harbor and did the reenter and roll. I got my kayak half full of water(alto).
Today (wed.) I dumped and righted the kayak by hand and then did my daughter's(amber) reentry. Basically hike body up over cockpit and then swivel ass towards stern and front(pelvis) towards bow and put ass in boat with both legs hanging out. It worked pretty good. The boat was less than quarter full. Basically if you are reentering from port than you swivel ass counter-clockwise.

I have to experiment with different ways to reenter and roll so I don't get so much water in the boat.
