I just read about this scotch wiskey called laphroaig. It sounds really goood. I havent found any bars that carry it yet. Laphroaig. Described as musty and peat like. Ummm.

Just went to a new bar in epping. The Holy Grail. It is irish/english/medeival themed. Pretty nice inside layout. If you drink all 20 beers on tap and 20 bottled beers they will put your cote of arms on the wall. The food was good. We had the Scotch Eggs and they were really different. Basically a hard boiled egg with a thick coating of sausage+batter and deep fried. We also had Adams Rib appetizer. They were pork ribs and had a lot of meat on them.

I got a dvr from Comcast. It's great I don't have to watch commercials anymore and I never miss a program because its programmed to record my favorite programs.

The model is Motorola dch3416. I had a problem with it which caused me to return the first one I got. BTW You can pick them up from the local Comcast office. We have one here in Exeter on Epping road. It looks like my bill went up from 137 to 151. Seems higher than they quoted me. Anyways back to the problem. The remote would work intermittently and I couldn't figure out why so as I was preparing for the second unit to be sent back and I decided I should bring a small tv with me to check out the units at the Comcast office. So I hooked it up and it worked. Weird. So I put it back where it is permanently on the bookshelf. After playing around for a while I found that the remote sensor was "seeing" the plasma tv mounted above the fireplace. So I put a sticky note on the dvr so the line of site from the tv to the dvr was blocked. Now it works fine. I guess the plasma tv is giving off IR pulses that confuse the dvr. The tv and dvr are at right angles to each other. The plasma is over the fireplace and the dvr is on the side in a built in bookshelf.

So the idea is everybody(companies) is given an allowed amount of co2 to emit(cap). They then trade for move to emit or trade because they produce less than their quota. So I want to have a cap and than I can make money by trading the near zero amount of co2 that I emit.

1. If he is going to do some big projects to stimulate the economy. He should so something that replaces oil. Wind turbine farms, thermal solar energy farm, cross country power transmission lines.

2. If he is going to give money to gm/ford then he should make sure it is used to make cars that get over 50 mpg.

3. He should cut spending. After all it was one of his campaign promises. But he should not do it while the economy is struggling. Basically government spending is one way the government gets us out of a recession.
